Signal Battalion at Camp Iron Mountain, California, 1943

Photos of a signal battalion (possibly the 58th) out on maneuvers and digging an emplacement to conceal a radio trailer in the vicinity of Camp Iron Mountain. The photographer was Ralph P. Womer, T-Sgt, USA

 

A pit has been dug and lined with sand bags. Once the trailer has been backed in, the entrance is protected with sand bags.
